The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has launched this required training for campus merchants as mandated by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard Council and in our effort to educate campus merchants about cardholder data security. This training module is deployed though Finance and Operations, developed by the Service Center of Excellence Continuous Improvement, Staff Development and Engagement Department in collaboration with the Compliant Electronic Receipt Transactions through Innovation and Financial Integrity (CERTIFI) Committee.

Staff members who interact with cardholders, cardholder data, web portals or devices related to payment cards are required to complete this training on an annual basis.
