The Finance and Budget team provides effective fiscal leadership and stewardship of University financial resources while partnering with campus schools and departments to manage funds, analyze and improve business processes and make strategic financial decisions that are compliant and timely.

Explore Our Departments

The Office of Finance and Budget includes 20 departments that oversee $9.2 billion in total assets and deferred outflows of resources and $5.5 billion of total liabilities and deferred inflows, with a net position at $3.6 billion as of June 30, 2021. The departments are committed to prudent stewardship of University resources through strong internal controls, strategic planning and fiscal responsibility of funds.

Facilities Services Coverage for Winter Break

November 21, 2022

UNC-Chapel Hill will observe a ten-day closure of the University during Winter Break 2022. During this time, Facilities Services will have limited staff resources on call.

Airgas and ARC 3 Holiday Hours

November 21, 2022

Please note that both Airgas and ARC3 will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25 in observance of Thanksgiving holiday and will resume their regularly scheduled hours on Monday, November 28.
