Fleet Services Fuel Card

WEX is the authorized vendor that provides and maintains fuel credit cards for University employee’s purchase of gasoline, diesel and other designated motor fuels at stations with extensive accessibility.  WEX has been providing government and commercial fleet managers with payment processing and information management services since 1983.  Most major fuel merchants participate in this program.

All fuel purchases made outside of Chapel Hill for University-owned vehicles must be purchased with this card.  In Chapel Hill, University-owned vehicles should be fueled at the UNC-Chapel Hill Facilities Service Station behind the Giles F.
