July closing; August Month-End Close deadline; F&A Formula Allocation; Changes coming to the financial reports in infoporte; coming soon: P-Card program.

The Current Operations Appropriations Act of 2018 granted permanent EHRA and SHRA employees who are active on July 1, 2018 a one-time award of five days, 40 hours, prorated for part-time employees with 50% or greater FTE.  The hours were loaded into TIM last night, Wednesday, August 1, under the name “Bonus 2018 No Payout.” 

This month, we interview Special Accounts Manager Keyana Kimbrough, as she talks about how her four-person team in the Cashier’s Office manages special accounts ranging from payment plans to delinquent accounts. Their day-to-day work with currently enrolled students, previous students and parents adds up – literally! Read her full interview.

As fall hiring season is not far away, this is a reminder that new employees (including student employees) will need to act if they want to change their tax withholding from the default status.
