Year-End Deadlines, Chartfield Updates, May GSHIP.

The sign off deadline for Biweekly 24 (5/11 to 5/24) has been extended to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27. Please submit sign off removal requests by 9 a.m.  Any timecards that have not been signed off by 10 a.m. on Wednesday will be signed off by Payroll.

The May 2020 GSHIP premium file has been uploaded into Connect Carolina and departments now have access to the GradStar GSHIP Administrator Premium Maintenance page to update allocations to Research Assistants/Teaching Assistants (RA/TAs). The total cost allocation must equal the monthly premium amount of $336.34. The last day to make changes in the system will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

The Benefits and Leave Administration unit in the Office of Human Resources will provide two training sessions via Zoom webinar on the new Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA): one for employees, and one for HR Representatives and TIM Administrators.

Per the memo sent April 28, please remember that next week marks the beginning of a series of key dates for fiscal year end. These deadlines must be met to ensure use of your 2018-2019 budgets rather than your 2019-2020 budgets. This year’s fiscal year-end task checklist supplements the referenced memo.
