SAS Replacement with Tableau

A one-hour web training session via Zoom will be available to describe the new processes in the Carolina Analytics Portal due to Tableau replacing SAS. We are offering two sessions: the first is from 1 - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27 and the second will be available from 1 - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3.

2021 Mileage Allowances Update

The North Carolina Office of State Budget and Management (OSBM) has released the state mileage allowances for 2021. Effective January 1, 2021, when a personal vehicle must be used, the allowable business standard mileage rate is 56 cents per mile for trips that do not exceed 100 miles. For business travel trips that utilize personal vehicles and exceed 100 miles per trip, the employee shall be reimbursed at 33 cents per mile.

Spring 2021 Billing Due Date Extended to Tuesday, Jan. 26

Due to COVID-19-related delays in mail and processing, the Cashier’s office has extended the Spring 2021 bill due date to Tuesday, Jan. 26 to allow time for mailed payments to be received and processed.
