The Budget, Planning & Analysis office has rolled out an enhanced Dual Employment Payment Request Form.

Along with recent mileage updates, NC Office of State Budget and Management (OSBM) has released some additional travel guidelines and restrictions for 2018. Meal reimbursements will no longer be eligible for travelers who are not making an overnight stay in their itinerary. Also, for travelers who have excess lodging expenses over the state per diem, Form 1302.1.1f Excess Lodging Justification may be necessary if the hotel is more than $300 per night (or $400 per night in certain high-cost cities).

Starting with the next Customer Billing Management (CBM) data file submission, which is estimated to be imported on Monday, March 19, 2018, charges from UNC Police for “Police and Security Guard Services” will now be processed by the Finance and Operations Service Center for Excellence.

A new faculty portal is coming soon in ConnectCarolina. They have created a quick start reference guide so that faculty members can now see their teaching schedules, students that have incompletes, financial information about contracts and grants, approval notifications, charging instructions and most-commonly used links. The portal will be launched in phases – keep an eye out for future notifications.
