A new “EHRA Leave Payouts QRC” has been posted on the TIM Training page under the TIM Administrator section for your reference, https://finance.unc.edu/services/training/#tabs-0-4
It provides guidance on the TIM monthly leave payout timing and process to ensure timely payment to EHRA Non-Faculty employees. It also includes information on processing historical corrections and late leave payouts.
Please also utilize the links provided to the EHRA Monthly Pay Period Schedule which includes the TIM monthly leave payout deadlines, https://finance.unc.edu/services/payroll-preparation-and-distribution/ and the EHRA Non-Faculty HR Termination policies, https://hr.unc.edu/employees/policies/ for your reference.
As you will note, the October TIM EHRA leave payout deadline has passed. Please review the Late Leave Payouts section in the QRC for your next steps if you have an EHRA Non-Faculty employee terminating this month and the leave payouts were not entered in TIM by the deadline.
EHRA Non-Faculty Leave payouts must not be entered as Lump Sum payments in ConnectCarolina.
Please note that this process and deadlines are for paying out leave hours to terminating EHRA Non-Faculty employees in the current month. The EHRA sign off deadline of the 15th of each month to sign off EHRA employees timecards for the previous month has not changed.
