This e-mail is specifically for those who are responsible for graduate students enrolled in the Graduate Student Health Insurance Program (GSHIP).
The January 2021 GSHIP premium file has been uploaded into Connect Carolina and departments now have access to the GradStar GSHIP Administrator Premium Maintenance page to update allocations to Research Assistants/Teaching Assistants (RA/TAs).
The total cost allocation must equal the monthly premium amount of $344.80.
The last day to make changes in the system will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
Important Deadlines
- Spring Enrollment: The last day to enroll a student onto GSHIP effective 1/1/2021 is March 1, 2021.
- Termination Coverage: The last day termination coverage for a GSHIP student back to 12/31/2020 is March 31, 2021.
- Waiver submission: The last day for students to submit a waiver for the Student Blue Mandatory plan is February 1, 2021.
