Due to COVID-19, one of Airgas’s plants has reduced production, forcing Airgas to obtain substitute product from another available source. Because of this, a temporary surcharge of $.05 per pound above the contracted price for their products will apply throughout Fall 2020. Currently, Airgas does not anticipate this change will affect their ability to supply UNC its products, based on our regular order supply.
