Procurement Services Operations presented some revisions to policies affecting P-Cards:
- 1252.2 – P-card charge rules will be relaxed to allow for gift card charges (which must have appropriate OSR approval for each project-specific P-Card) so that Amazon e-Cards, Walmart eGiftcards or Target eGiftcards may be purchased to reimburse patients after clinical trial visits.
- 1253 – the policies will also be broadened to allow the enforcement of P-Card infractions as of July 16, 2019. As part of this, all P-Card account holders, proxy reconcilers and approvers will be required to attend trainings to explain the infractions.
The Handbook is being updated to reflect these changes as well.
