Adverse Weather Payback from FY14 Leave

A new pay code, “Adverse Weather Paybk-FY14,” has been added in TIM. This pay code is to be used to pay back hours that were entered with the Adverse Weather Cond I-II Open pay code in the timecard after July 1, 2013. The pay code must not be used to pay back Adverse Weather hours that were owed before July 1, 2013.

If you have an employee that wants to pay back Adverse Weather owed hours using their FY14 Leave, you will enter the pay code “Adverse Weather Paybk-FY14,” and the amount of hours to be paid back in the timecard. If needed, run an Accrual Detail Report with a range of dates from 7/1/13 to today and identify the hours that were entered in the employee’s Adverse Weather Owed accrual after July 1, 2013. Only those hours owed after July 1, 2013 may be paid back using FY14 Leave.

For more information please refer to the ‘Paying Back Adverse Weather by Using Leave Balance Hours’ and ‘Generate and Print Reports’ sections in the TIM Administrator Manual Part I.

PLEASE NOTE: Hours must not be moved between accrual balances in TIM. Instead, you must enter the correct leave pay back pay code and amount of hours to be paid back directly in the timecard.
