Subject:  Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday & EPA Reminders

The SPA payroll close schedule for the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday has been changed.  In order to process payroll timely, ALL deadlines will be strictly enforced.  Sign off will NOT be removed after the sign off removal request deadline has passed.  After the deadline has passed, historical edits must be entered in TIM for any missing or incorrect entries.

  • The biweekly pay period ending Sunday, January 15, 2012 must be signed off by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
  • Sign off removal requests must be received by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.  Sign off will NOT be removed after the sign off removal request deadline has passed.

Please note: The biweekly sign off deadline, 5:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the biweekly pay period, MUST be followed unless you received a communication from TIM Support stating that it has been moved.  The biweekly sign off deadline is NOT moved for every holiday that falls on a Monday.

EPA Reminders

EPA Monthly Sign Off

  • The monthly pay period ending December 31, 2011 must be signed off by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
  • Sign off removal requests for EPA employees must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Sign off will NOT be removed after the sign off removal request deadline has passed.

All 2011 leave taken by EPA employees must be made effective as of a date in 2011 before the Sign Off Deadline. Sign off will be applied to all EPA timecards that have not been signed off by the deadline.

EPA Calendar Year End

Calendar Year End items for all EPA Employees must be addressed in TIM by the EPA Sign Off Deadline at 5:00PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
