Procurement Services and Materials Management is pleased to announce several new staff members who will serve in key roles as we prepare for many initiatives in the coming year.
Effective December 9, Rebecca Spanos joined our team as Manager of Travel and Payment Card Services, reporting directly to Director of Accounts Payable and Travel Services Janet Rupert. As I shared in October, Travel and Payment Card Services includes Travel Card Operations, Travel Services Operations and P-Card Operations.
Also, effective December 9, we welcomed Travel Card Manager, Ferdinand Berrios. Travel Card Operations will be very involved in the card programs we have planned for launch in 2020.
Additionally, Maria Carter recently joined the eProcurement and Materials Management team as Asset Management Program Manager, reporting directly to Ammar Yameen. In this role, Maria will oversee eProcurement/eCommerce reconciliation responsibilities and provide supervision for asset management staff other than Surplus Property staff.
