Effective Oct. 8, 2018, Staples deliveries will come directly from Staples to the address specified on the order. All orders placed with Staples via ePro will be delivered by Staples personnel, and Central Receiving will no longer be involved with the delivery of Staples orders. Staples has been preparing for this change for several months, so we expect the change to be seamless for campus customers.
Regarding recycling of inkjet and laser toner cartridges: You may give used cartridges to Staples delivery personnel when they deliver Staples orders. If you have a Xerox Multifunction Device through Carolina Managed Print Services, you may recycle your printer cartridges through the Xerox Green World Alliance.
All questions and concerns regarding the timing and the quality of your Staples deliveries (missing items, delivery, delays, returns) and recycling inkjet and laser toner cartridges should be directly addressed to our Staples account manager, Brieana DeFlavio at Brieana.DeFlavio@Staples.com.
After Oct. 8, 2018, the Mini Storeroom will no longer carry 8 ½ “x 11” paper in its inventory, and campus units should buy paper via the Staples link on ePro.
If you have eProcurement questions, such as technical issues, order placement, requisitions, purchase orders, canceling/closing a purchase order, liquidation and billing, please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
