RE: Announcement of Executive Director of Enterprise Financial Accounting and University Controller
I am pleased to announce that Aimee L. Turner, CPA, will be joining the Finance and Accounting team on June 22 in the role of Executive Director for Enterprise Financial Accounting and University Controller.
Aimee has over 20 years of financial leadership experience in the not-for-profit research and higher education sectors, most recently as Associate Vice President and University Controller for Cornell University. She is a board member of the Kuali Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of open source administrative software solutions for higher education, and has also served as treasurer for CCAT and the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute.
Aimee will have oversight of the University’s central general accounting functions, including oversight of the University’s general ledger and chart of accounts, foundation and investment accounting, external financial reporting, and cash management operations.
I am very excited to have Aimee join us in this critical accounting leadership role. Please join me in welcoming Aimee to the University and to the Finance and Accounting team.
