Since March, our work has changed in unanticipated ways and it continues to evolve daily. In spite of the challenges facing our health, routines and spirits, the Finance and Budget team has been banding together to tackle difficult problems and support each other through this extraordinary time. I have every confidence that we will continue to manage through this situation, though it may test us and try us along the way.
While some of our work cannot be completed in the same way, our team has shifted focus to what we can do: analyzing, testing and planning, which is not easy as we are still trying to anticipate what the impacts will be. For the last eight weeks, you have shown incredible flexibility in changing processes to accommodate our campus customers while complying with stay-in-place orders. I am so proud of the work you all have done to keep our campus running, while many of you also juggle additional responsibilities at home.
This work is more critical than ever as we reimagine what the coming weeks or months may hold in store, and we continue to meet these challenges together.
