We recently received notice that, due to a recent review of GSHIP insurance plan rates by the NC Department of Insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield is making an adjustment to the GSHIP pricing for policy year 2018-2019.  The monthly cost for the Graduate Health Insurance Program is now $325.87 per month instead of $332.91, bringing the annual coverage down to $3,910.44 instead of $3994.92, as stated in the May 2 memo.

Immediate action needed: Departments that have already begun enrolling students for the 2018-19 Fall Semester will need to adjust the premium costs as soon as possible to prepare for the semester that begins August 1.  Students do not need to resubmit Form 1112.1.1f Verification of Student Eligibility, but the form will be updated for future enrollment.
