Sponsors of the Resource Management, Planning and Allocation (RMPA) initiative hosted the “UNC Budget Model Panel Discussion: Successes and Lessons Learned from Peer Universities,” for University staff and faculty from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 22, at the Sonja Haynes Stone Center. The event, part of a process which began last year to examine the effectiveness of UNC’s current incremental-based budgeting process, featured insight from peers at other universities that have redesigned their budgeting process.

The RMPA team has been working to define what changes could best enable the University to advance its strategic priorities and provide a new budgeting process that reflects the unique strengths, culture and values of Carolina.

Below are the slide presentations from this panel.
