A Finance Division-sponsored CPE course entitled “Operational, Financial Reporting, and Tax Considerations for Higher Education Institutions” will be held on Aug.15, 2013, from 1-5 p.m. with registration starting at 12:30 p.m. in MacNider Hall, Room 321.
Please sign up for the event on the UNC-CH Registration site. The course will include a discussion of service delivery and the key operational decisions behind service offerings. Additionally there will be a discussion related to using enterprise risk management to reduce costs and enhance performance in a time of fiscal stress followed by a GASB update for newly issued or newly applicable pronouncements and a discussion related to exempt organization tax considerations.
This workshop offers the opportunity to receive four (4) CPE credits. See the attached for announcement and agenda details.
