A prior memo provided 10/13/14 regarding Departmental Suspense is copied below.  The prior memo explains the different types of departmental default/suspense. 

Among the many changes we are all adjusting to with ConnectCarolina, a new one is the use of departmental suspense chartfields for payroll transactions with expired or invalid funding.

As noted in the ConnectCarolina Daily Update on Friday, a communication is being sent this morning to all SPA (biweekly) employees regarding the biweekly payroll last Friday. A notice of the memo has also been sent to HR Officers and Secondary Contacts.
