Recently, questions have arisen regarding the vendor classification of freelance photographers and videographers that are hired for assignments within the university.

Effective October 9, Stephanie Kidd became the Payroll Manager. In this role, Stephanie oversees the day-to-day payroll operations and assists me with payroll initiatives while increasing overall customer service.

This memorandum is provided as a reminder of the new look for your paystub beginning this Friday, Oct. 13 for biweekly pay dates.  As a reminder, paystubs issued in October (Oct. 13 and Oct. 27 for biweekly pay dates, and Oct. 31 for monthly pay dates) will have a new look.

Policy 708 now includes a FAQ on photographers and videographers: they must be hired as independent contractors

The FAQ Section was revised in language to help eliminate ambiguity concerning where the 53.5 cents per mile rate applies on multi-day travel. The updated language is as follows:
