Campus Deposit Deadlines for Calendar Year End 2024

Please note and share as appropriate the following adjusted deadlines related to the December 2024 month-end processing of cash, checks, credit cards and electronic payments submitted through the Cashier’s Office. These adjustments to the usual monthly deadlines are due to the long winter holiday break. We appreciate your attention to these critical deposit deadlines for December’s month-end close.

Cash and Check Deposits:

• All cash/check deposits submitted in ConnectCarolina in December 2024 must be received by 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, to be approved with an effective date of Dec. 31, 2024.

NOTE: Due to the winter break — Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 — submitted cash/check deposits must be placed in the night depository outside of SASB North by 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, to be considered a December deposit. It is unlikely that deposits placed in campus mail late in the week ending Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, will be processed as a December deposit.

Credit Card/Electronic Deposits:

• Departments must submit deposits by the deadlines below:

NOTE: Please be sure your department has staff available to process your credit card deposits by the above deadlines.

So that the University can close the calendar year on time, there should be no incomplete electronic deposits for dates prior to Dec. 24, 2024, when the University reopens on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

• The Cashier’s Office will approve all bank dates through Dec. 31, 2024, by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Please be sure your department has staff available to make necessary corrections to deposits on Jan. 2, 2025.
