Facilities Services billing rates are adjusted annually effective with the end of each fiscal year. Fiscal year 2022-2023 rates will go into effect July 23, 2022. The materials and contracts and tiered project rates will remain unchanged. The labor and fixed charge billing rate changes are shown in sections III – VI of the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Rates. Some of these rate changes include:
- Recycling contract services will increase 25-26%.
- Sign and key shop pricing will increase on average 10%.
- Freezer rental rates will increase 10%.
- Hourly shop rates will increase on average 18%.
For specific service and shop rates, please review the rate schedule.
These rate changes reflect increased contract, supply and overhead costs. Labor rate changes also reflect increases to the cost of employment, including legislative salary increases and fringe benefits costs. Please note that these are the first increases to labor and fixed charge billing rates since FY 2019-2020.
