To streamline the travel booking process through Concur Travel/World Travel Inc, the EHI Direct website will be decommissioned effective Monday, December 13. Existing reservations will not be affected.All new rental car reservations may be booked in Concur Travel or directly with the agents at World Travel Inc. Information regarding passenger van and truck rentals can be round on the UNC Vehicle Rental webpage.

Prior to booking a new reservation, please ensure that you have a credit card saved to your profile in Concur (this may either be your T&E Card or a personal credit card). This information is required to secure the reservation. Rental car expenses will no longer be direct-billed to the University but will be included on the traveler’s expense report in Concur.

To expedite the pick-up process at the rental car location, we recommend that employees take advantage of free enrollment in Emerald Club. Once enrolled, your Emerald Club account should be added to the Frequent-Travel Programs section of your Concur profile. In addition, your credit card (either your T&E Card or a personal credit card) may be saved to your Emerald Club account for faster transactions at the time of pick-up.

As a reminder, there is still a nation-wide shortage of rental car vehicles. Please be sure to book well in advance if you anticipate needing a rental car for your University business travel.
