We have had reports again of fraudulent phishing emails coming to staff today from a false Amazon source. IT Security have been notified, but please do NOT call the number on any email you receive as it is not Amazon support. Be on the lookout for any purchase where the shipping is located far from University property, email addresses are inconsistent or orders that you cannot verify.
Suppliers should NEVER ask for credit card or personal information. If you receive a questionable email from a Supplier, please report it to IT by forwarding the email as an attachment to phish@unc.edu. For more information on this process, see this Help Desk article.
