Top Issues

NEW! February Month-End Close: Central offices have officially closed for the month of February. This includes the transmission and reconciliation of all February transactions and state approval to close the month.

NEW! Deposits Made on March 31: The State of North Carolina is upgrading to a new Cash Management System. Due to the transition, any deposits made to the State Treasurer bank account after March 30, 2021 (including cash/check deposits placed in the Cashier’s Office dropbox after 12 p.m.), will be recorded in April.

REMINDER! March Month-End Close Deadline: Validated campus journal entries and data collect batches (journal imports) should be received by Accounting Services by close of business (5 p.m.) on Wednesday, March 31. Please remember that accounting will not receive the journal entries until the journal has been budget checked valid and has passed through all required approvals (including OSR, if necessary).

COMING SOON! Concur, World Travel, Inc. and New Travel & Expense (T&E) Card Launching Tuesday, April 27Concur will be the designated travel and business expense management solution for the University and will manage pre-trip request approval, travel booking and expense report management. World Travel, Inc. will be onboarded as our new travel agency partner supporting Concur Travel and Live-Agent bookings. Additionally, the Travel & Expense (T&E) Card, provided by Bank of America, will be launched in phases to campus travelers. Trainings and quick reference cards will be available.
