This month, the Travel Services team, along with the Operational Excellence team, will launch a new, user-friendly travel and expense resource site for campus users. The site, expected to launch September 9, will replace the current travel information web page and will feature a functional design and helpful tools to streamline and organize travel processes. The site was designed and tested by stakeholders across campus and includes a new look and functional navigation, a quick reference guide and travel checklist to reduce guesswork, a policy page with relevant links, and separate pages focused on booking travel and reporting expenses. I am excited to learn how this will improve campus travel!

As I shared previously, the hiring of a controller and executive director for enterprise financial accounting has been a high-priority goal for me. We plan to complete the search for this position by mid-to late-September, with a hire date to follow soon afterward.
