The upgrade to the University’s TIM (Time Information Management) system will take place on Monday, October 24, 2016. The upgraded version of TIM will provide better navigation with fewer mouse clicks and a reduction in internet browser issues.
The actions that you do in TIM today will remain the same. However, all employees who use TIM now will need to complete training for the upgraded version of TIM.
TIM Upgrade Training Begins on Monday, October 10
Training for Employees
On Monday, October 10, employees will receive a link to access computer-based training (CBT) with detailed instructions on how to use the upgraded TIM. Employees will be required to complete their CBT by Friday, October 21, 2016. The CBT takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, so plan accordingly.
*No action is required on your part until Oct. 10, when training becomes available.
Training for Managers
On Monday, October 10, managers will receive a link to access computer-based training (CBT) with detailed instructions on how to use the upgraded TIM. Managers will be required to complete the three core manager CBTs: Navigation, Managing Timecards and Pay Period Close, by Friday, October 21, 2016. Together, the three CBTs will take approximately an hour to complete, so plan accordingly.
*No action is required on your part until Oct. 10, when training becomes available.
Training for TIM Administrators
TIM Administrators are required to attend classroom training. An announcement with the classroom training dates and a link to register is being emailed directly to TIM Administrators.
