From: ConnectCarolina Change Management Team
This is a reminder that the PeopleSoft 101 webinar will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. This webinar will focus on Finance screens; we will have a future webinar focusing on HR screens.
*Note for Finance staff from Finance Communications and Training: We coordinated group viewings last time and there was very sparse attendance, so we will not coordinate group viewing this time. If your department would like to coordinate viewing in a central room, please feel free to do so. FYI, both the Finance training room (AOB 3101) and the Finance third floor conference room (AOB 3114) are reserved for other events during that time.
The instructions are below, but if anyone or any group would like assistance with walking through the setup steps before the day of the webinar, Troy Howell or Catherine Buria can assist with that. Both Troy and Catherine will host the webinar and will be unavailable from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday.*
Are you curious about what PeopleSoft looks like? Join us for a brief webinar called, “PeopleSoft 101,” which gives you a preview of what the new system will look like and how to navigate in PeopleSoft screens.
The “PeopleSoft 101” webinar will be presented on Thursday, March 21, 2-3 p.m., and all campus accounting and financial personnel are invited to participate.
You may want to view the webinar as a group, perhaps as part of a staff meeting. There will be plenty of time for questions after the presentation. We will record this webinar for future use and will send links to the recorded session.

Help
:
If you have problems connecting to the webinar, it may be due to one of two issues with Java settings. One is your default program settings – covered in the article linked below.
http://support.blackboardcollaborate.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=8336&task=knowledge&questionID=1868
If adjusting your settings doesn’t work, your second option is to try uninstalling and reinstalling Java.
If neither of these solutions works, you can email financetrainer@unc.edu and we will work with you.
