The Office of State Budget and Management has in limited cases granted exceptions from the state freeze rules. We received word yesterday that OSBM will no longer entertain exceptions this year. OSBM is requiring us to stay within the state freeze guidelines through the remainder of this fiscal year. So effective immediately do not contact the Budget Office or Disbursement Services to inquire about exceptions from the freeze rules.
