Welcome to the Business Continuity Office! We are blazing new trails in continuity planning for higher education, and we are delighted to have you join us. We believe every department is critical to the University's overall mission – the loss of even one department diminishes the whole. That's why we're asking every department on campus to participate in business continuity planning efforts. We're starting out by asking you to complete specific templates that delineate what your department would need in the event of a crisis. Then, we're building overall University guidelines based on what you’ve told us your needs will be.

On our webpage you'll find planning templates, links to interesting and informative sites, news about disasters and evolving threats, and information about University operation plans for a disaster or crisis. This is very much an interactive office, though, and we want to know what you think, what you need, and how we can help. Our goal is to work with you to develop the best strategies for your department and for the University. When you're working with the Business Continuity Office, you're part of our team and you can count on us to be part of yours. Mission

The Business Continuity Office is committed to assisting all departments on campus with development of continuity policies, procedures and contracts to ensure that a minimum level of operations is possible during and after a disaster or disruptive event. As a progression of disaster recovery, Business Continuity aims to achieve uninterrupted stability of critical systems and operating procedures across campus.
