Re: The Carolina Inn
Elegant. Historic. Timeless. The University’s Living Room. Since coming to Carolina, I’ve heard all of these words used to describe the Carolina Inn, and I couldn’t agree more. We are very fortunate to have a national award-winning hotel and restaurant in the heart of campus, and I would like to encourage all of you to consider the Inn when planning future events.
Here are some of the highlights:
- 185 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites
- Ample indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The Inn can accommodate needs from a private lunch for 10 to a reception for 300.
- Premier fine-dining at Carolina Crossroads Restaurant and Bar
- Walking distance to campus and Franklin Street
- Exceptional staff to help you plan your event
My favorite reason to book at the Carolina Inn is that they direct their profits to the North Carolina Collection at Wilson Library, so a portion of the money you spend stays at the University. But I also know that you have many excellent choices for hotels and meeting space in the area and, ultimately, the Inn may not be what best fits your needs for a particular meeting or event. Even if you think that may be the case, please consider including the Inn on your list of options. We may just surprise you.
Please contact the Inn directly at 919-933-2001 for more information on booking your next event.
