The July 2023 GSHIP premium file has been uploaded into Connect Carolina and departments now have access to the GradStar GSHIP Administrator Premium Maintenance page to update allocations to Research Assistants/Teaching Assistants (RA/TAs).
The June 2023 GSHIP premium file has been uploaded into ConnectCarolina. The total cost allocation must equal $395.05; last day to make changes in the system will be Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Students who are graduating, withdrawing or no longer working need to be terminated in ConnectCarolina before Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022. RAs or TAs who were just hired, be sure to submit their GSHIP paperwork by Friday, Dec. 16, 2022.

The February 2021 GSHIP premium file has been uploaded into ConnectCarolina and departments now have access.The total cost allocation must equal the monthly premium amount of $351.92. The last day to make changes in the system will be Monday, February 21, 2021.
Next Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, is the last day for Research Assistants/Teacher Assistants (RAs/TAs) who have enrolled in the Graduate Student Health Insurance Program (GSHIP) to waive out of the UNC system Student Health Insurance Plan (Student Blue).
Students who are graduating, withdrawing, or no longer working after the winter semester need to be terminated in ConnectCarolina before Dec. 17, 2021. New RA/TA hires need to submit their paperwork by Dec. 15, 2021. Make sure new hires with a Jan. 1 effective date have their ePar completed.
