I am pleased to announce that Andrew Chow joined the Finance and Accounting team on June 20, 2016, in the role of Cash Manager. Andrew has ten years of experience in global cash management and general accounting, most recently with First-Citizens Bank and Trust Company, and before that with Credit Suisse Securities, LLC, both in North Carolina. His skills include daily working capital management, reconciling payment breaks and outstanding ledger discrepancies and various facets of continuous business process improvement. He holds two degrees from East Carolina University College of Business—a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance.
As Cash Manager, Andrew will supervise and direct the Cash Management Services unit within Accounting Services, with a primary goal of ensuring University compliance with the Office of the State Controller’s cash management plan, as required by statute. In addition to managing daily operations, Andrew will focus on identifying and implementing core cash management service process improvements, will keep abreast of the University’s needs regarding banking services and will solicit proposals for additional banking services as needed.
