Subject: **IMPORTANT REMINDER** UNC-Chapel Hill RA/TA Waiver Submission – ACTION REQUIRED
Dear Student,
For the 2017-2018 policy year, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) will not automatically waive graduate students that are enrolled in the Graduate Student Health Insurance Program (GSHIP) insurance. Graduate students enrolled in the UNC Chapel Hill RA/TA plan, must submit an online waiver using their GSHIP insurance at http://studentbluenc.com/#/uncch/welcome. If a waiver is not submitted, the charge of $1,270.00, for the system wide Student Blue insurance plan, will remain on your student account until the end of open enrollment.
The fall waiver deadline is September 11, 2017.
The 2016-2017 policy year ended on July 31, 2017. If you have questions about eligibility or have not received your card in a timely manner, please contact your academic program or department.
