I’m pleased to announce that effective July 3, Walter Miller will be the Director of Payroll Services. Having served as the interim director since April of last year, we are confident in Walter’s ability to continue to advance payroll integration with ConnectCarolina, while increasing overall customer service.
In addition to oversight of all payroll activities (monthly and biweekly), which includes labor accounting, payroll taxation, and benefits payment, he will be responsible for developing a strategic plan for payroll and ConnectCarolina.
Previously, Walter served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities in Washington, DC. For nine years prior, he worked in both finance and human resources roles at the UNC School of Dentistry, including serving as the Interim Assistant Dean of Financial Affairs. Walter holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Divinity from Gardner-Webb University.
