Financial Controls

The Finance Division maintains an internal controls Web site with key links to University provided internal controls information and documentation. Additionally, links are maintained for related services provided by other state agencies.

Financial Controls and Procedure Reviews

Administer internal control self-assessments at the department level to identify areas where internal control improvements are possible and make recommendations consistent with existing National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) recommendations or aligned with current industry practices such as Sarbanes-Oxley standards.

Internal Controls Education

The Financial Controls Manager is available to conduct presentations on campus to provide internal controls education and updates on recent developments. Web-based training modules and other materials are accessible from the Web site.
