This calculator generates fringe benefit amounts based on an annual salary for an entire year. It does not generate prorated amounts which you may need to take into consideration: Medical Insurance is prorated monthly, while Social Security and retirement benefits are prorated for a portion of the year. Secondly, this calculator does not take into account any fringe benefit amounts that have already been budgeted for if this is a salary adjustment. Lastly, if the funding for this salary comes from multiple sources, calculating how the fringe benefits are divided amongst those sources will need to be handled independently of this calculator.
