Asset Management
| About Us |
|
Asset Management's role at the University is to provide an accurate tracking system and information source for University capital asset records, and to provide a check and balance system to control and reconcile capital asset records for state audit requirements. Asset Management provides detailed procedures for asset acquisitions and disposals, as well as equipment trades and transfers. We are also responsible for properly identifying, recording, and tracking the University's capital equipment costing $5,000 or more, and ensuring that capital asset records reconcile with University financial records. Asset Management provides assistance to campus departments for their annual inventories, produces informational inventory reports on request, and performs spot checking to comply with state audit requirements. We recognize that campus departments' questions and concerns come first, and we strive to provide an efficient system to assist our customers with answers and guidance. |
