Jan. 2 Payday and Early Timesheet Submission

Receipt of Pay
January 2, 2009, is a scheduled payday, and also a University-scheduled holiday. For those on direct deposit, monies will be in their accounts as of 9 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2009. Other checks (terminations, one time payments, new hires, etc.) will need to be picked up by the Human Resource Facilitator on Monday, January 5, 2009, and distributed to employees. Pay checks for employees currently being mailed will be mailed on January 5, 2009.

DDD - 2009 Rate Mileage Decrease

Effective January 1, 2009, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has decreased the business standard mileage rate from 58.5 cents per mile to 55 cents per mile to account for the recent decline in gasoline prices.

Graduating Graduate Students in GSHIP

Graduate students who will be graduating at the end of Fall semester 2008 in December must be removed from the Graduate Student Health Insurance Program effective January 14, 2009. To do this, go to the “Graduate Student Health Insurance Enrollment and Change Form”. Place a “*G*” in the “Delete Code” field and “*01/14/09*” in the “Removed” field.
